    | ". . . the Judges felt that several features set the
Sea-Doo GTX 4-TEC apart, including an innovative closed-loop cooling
system, a viable sound reduction system (D-Sea-Bel™), and most
importantly, an off-throttle (and off-power) steering system (O.P.A.S.
system), which we feel is an excellent safety feature. We believe the (GTX)
4-TEC represents the future of personal watercraft." |

    | |

    | "The new 4-stroke Sea-Doo 4-TEC personal watercraft proves it can
handle big seas as well as glassy calm water. With its modified-V hull
slicing through the rough stuff, the ride feels stable and inspires a lot
of confidence in less-than-perfect conditions. For longer destination
cruising, the thumb-throttle alleviates hand fatigue, and the more than 50
gallons of storage capacity is always a plus. The (GTX) 4-TEC is a great
value for families looking for superb handling and style. Its
155-horsepower engine means you've got all the kick you need to pull
skiers, wakeboarders, or inflatables. The list of safety features is
impressive, and the Learning Key rev limiter and off-power assisted
      steering are terrific innovations." |

    | "The Sea-Doo (GTX 4-TEC) offered the smoothest ride in rough water.
In a previous test, in fact, I rode the GTX 4-TEC through 1-to 3-foot chop
on the Intercoastal Waterway near Grant, Florida. I was surprised at how
nicely it sliced through the waves and how the cushioned seat made it easy
on my back. If you want cruising comfort , rough-water capability, storage
and features, as well as a good turn of speed, the GTX 4-TEC is your
      craft." |

    | |

    | |

    | "The Sea-Doo (GTX 4-TEC) . . . did have a few more plush features,
such as: a more comfortable seat; a rear-boarding platform that was
designed sepcifically with towing capabilities in mind; a retractable rear
boarding step; and a front storage compartment which, when you have the
storage tray in, is probably the most functional compartment we have seen
on a personal watercraft. Even the seats and handlebars are constructed
with ergonomics in mind. . . So, for the buyer that wants a good,
all-around craft for the family, the (GTX) 4-TEC is probably your best
      bet." |

    | |

    | "The Sea-Doo GTX 4-TEC is the cruiser of personal watercraft. On dry
land, the owner would be driving a Harley. . . The result is a softer ride
with exceptional stability. You notice that immediately. For the
passenger, too, the Sea-Doo ride is noticeably more stable. And, for a
three-seater, we think that's important or you'd buy a smaller boat.
We like the 'Learning Key' that, when used to start the boat, limits
performance and gives new drivers a chance to get a feel for the boat
before giving them full power. Sea-Doo's off-power steering system also
gives riders as extra margin of safety in panic situations. . . A hull
integrated sound suppression system uses specially tuned structural
chambers in the hull that capture and redirect sound waves, canceling
noise-making vibrations. Sea-Doo is owned by Bombardier, the maker of
Learjets. We don't worry about durability."
